The Wales Institute for Sustainable Education provides first class facilities to students and conference delegates. Housing our graduate school, WISE demonstrates, researches and disseminates cutting edge green building materials and methods to thousands of people a year. As the subject of several PhDs it will help the mainstream building industry move towards zero carbon.

Volunteering

Our volunteer programme is central to our work at CAT enabling us to fulfil our aims as an eco-centre whilst providing people with training and experience to play their own part in the transition to zero carbon.

Education

13,000 pupils a year benefit from practical workshops on climate change, sustainability and ecological footprinting. CAT works with teachers and curriculum leaders to embed sustainability into education from primary age to postgraduates.
